Be Safe While Traveling! Safeguards for Everywhere Travel, not Only for The Dominican Republic

As you have probably seen and heard since there has been a ton of media coverage recently surrounding the tragic deaths and a horrific act of violence at resorts in the #DominicanRepublic, it is completely understandable that many would have questions and concerns regarding travel to the D.R. While this situation is extremely unnerving and unfortunate, we must keep in mind that crime happens all across the globe, even when we travel so here are a few recommendations to know about before you travel to any destination.

Resorts and Cruise Lines usually do everything they can to ensure the safety of their guests but as a traveler, you should take some basic safety precautions as well. Review your personal security plans including communications preparedness/connectivity, monitor local news for breaking events and remain vigilant at all times.
