Launching on today; Friday, September 23rd, is Miami’s newest Ferry service to the closest Bahamian Island to the United States, Bimini.
The ferry will operate from the port of Miami to the pier at Hilton Resorts World Bimini. This 750-acre Resort with 305 guest rooms just recently opened this past June. Guests can look forward to enjoying the luxurious Serenity Spa/Salon, 6 Restaurants, 4 Pools-including a Rooftop Serenity Pool, a Casino and the largest private marina in the Bahamas. An array of Water Sports, including world-class Fishing and Diving, Tours and other land Excursions are also available.
The high-speed ferry, named “MY San Gwan”, will make the 50-mile crossing in just about two hours from Miami to North Bimini in the Bahamas. Ferry service from Fort Lauderdale to Resorts World already exists.
The ferry sails from The Port of Miami at 8AM on Sunday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday with departures returning from the Hilton at Resorts World Bimini at 6PM. Roundtrip Ferry rates start at about $129pp.
