Families With 4th Graders Can Get “Every Kid in a Park” in The U.S. For FREE!!

As a huge advocate for traveling WITH your kids while they are young, I am so excited to hear about this new government initiative, “Every Kid in a Park”.

Beginning Fall 2015, every family with a 4th Grader will get a 1-year, Free Admission pass to all US Government public lands which include National Parks and Monuments.  Operating under the premise that “the great outdoors is one of our greatest classrooms” (& I so agree), President Obama wants to make sure that more kids have an opportunity to benefit from the wide range of educational programs and resources that already exist at a number of government agencies such as the National Park Service.

I honestly believe that Travel is one of the best forms of education and this new, “Every Kid in a Park” program will give more parents an opportunity to understand just that. We must engage the minds of our children, while they are young, to points of interest and experiences outside of their normal day-to-day life.  The best way to do that is through the experience of travel, locally, domestically and/or internationally. – Tina of TLC Travels’ Tours & Cruises!
